Canoe with Training Wheels(outriggers)

Built this for my canoe so it was a little easier with the kids in the boat and fishing. 1" PVC and some crab trap floats.

Not bad, stable enough to stand up and fish if I wanted too. I need to try with another fullsize adult to see how it does. So far I'm pretty happy with it, still need to glue everything.

I actually made a pair just like yours for my Hobie Adventure so I can stand and fish as well as spot fish on the flats in Florida when I visit. If the PVC should snap (part going from canoe to floats), try Schedule 80 PVC...much stronger.
