I have the 06 Kia Sorento. It has no lockers. I have been on the hunt for a rear locker for a while now. I talked to a guy that said it is a Toyota axle. Can some one help me find out if this is true? If it is ARB should have a locker ready. Thanks in advance

If it is a Toyota axle, and ARB has a system to fit; it seems like ARB would have it listed (for the KIA) on their website. Hhmmmmm?

Also: It may be a Toyota axle, from a light duty vehicle, and not a truck.

It is not listed in the USA section. If you know what your rig is sold as, in other countries, the ARB Intrenational section might be of some help.

I have nothing useful to offer, but maybe they're manufactured under license? Toyota supplying axles to a Korean competitor?

Anyway, got any good photos? It might be possible to tell something from it. If it's an 8" ring gear axle from a truck, it's easy to tell something from them by the way the webbing is cast into the third member housing. Also Toyota axles themselves are pretty identifiable.

These photos are from a commonly referenced site:

I would ask a mechanic or call KIA customer service/support and ask them specifically what axle they used. Just my $.02.:)
