Just thought that I would post a quick thread and say hi to you all. Got linked over here from NAXJA and decided that this is more along the lines of my type of exploring. I prefer to get out and explore the long trails and see something new then to sit on a trail that beats the crap out of my rig for 8 hours and is only .1 mile long ;) Anyway, hope to contribute to this forum and have a good time.
Right now I am running a 1989 Jeep Cherokee Laredo. Currently sitting on a 4.5" RE short arm (long arms in the works) kit. 33" BFG AT/KO's and some shiny wheels plus a Lock Rite in the rear. Just picked up a Surco rack for throwing some light things up top. I'll probably add a set of Hella 500's on top, plus the mounts for a Hi Lift and shovel mount too. So, yeah, there she is. ;)

And an older pic from April this year, out on Flat Iron Mesa.

the long-arms are a step in the right direction....that's next for my rig, when I can afford it.

How bad do you rub with no trimming and the 33's?

The front tires only rub on compression with the wheels turned. I've tweaked the front and rear parts of the front fenders pretty good, but I just put two hands on it and pull the bends back out. Oh, and the fender flares are trimmed, just hard to see it.
As for the rear, they don't rub badly at all. The inner plastic liner is getting torn up, but otherwise, nothing else.
EDIT: And nice XJ on your part, I was reading through your build thread earlier today. Looks like it turned out really nice!
Hi Brett, you can't swing a dead cat around the Jeep section of this place without hitting a NAXJA guy!
