Vengeful - your right.... 5... damn, which boards did i miss... i gotta get those quick.. lol
The BN Guy - um.. well... Those particular grease zerks I installed... But yes, Calmini does offer grease zerks in there UCA's as of now... I bought them from Courtesy, so they where before the grease zerks started being added from calmini, however they did have the newer bushings already...

I do believe I'm gonna follow suit and install a set on mine. That squeaking gets annoying!

I like it! I was wondering about your TJM 17 relocation... Did you have to do that because of a body lift? I'm assuming you have one based on your truck's stance... I was wondering how you relocated it. Not too long ago, I was faced with the same situation after buying an 02 X with a 3" BL and a TJM 17. I finally elected to take the BL off, which I ultimately wanted to do anyway.

Nope, no body lift. That's all suspension.
The relocation was done because as they come, the T-17 has about a 1 1/4" gap below the grille on the 01+ Frontiers, and he wanted to close up that gap.

I had the same problem with my 2" BL. There are different ways to do the bumper lift. What I did was cut tubing in lengths just over the width the frame, cut holes 2" higher than stock mounting points, welded tubing in place and had to cut a bit off the ARB. Isn't exactly perfect but I think that may be attributed to the fact that my bar was used and not new.

Vengeful is correct... No body lift....
When i first mounted my TJM, it looked ok, but had a HUGE gap... almost 1.5"
so I took the bumper off, left the mounting brackets on, and just drilled new holes aprox 1.25" above the original holes... Then remounted it... I do plan to add a 2" body lift at some point... And i'm going to take the existing mounting brackets off the truck, run them down to a steal shop local to me, and have them cut new ones with the exact same measurements, except mounting holes 3" higher than the ones that it came with... That will give me the clearance for the 2" body lift, will account for the 1" of gap, and still leave a .5" gap to cover body flex that the body lift might add to the truck...
probably won't be cheap.. but it will look way better than just accepting the gap....
As for grease zerks.. very easy install... go for it.... just drill the holes, tap them, and screw the grease fittings in... add grease...

The only problem I may have is that the inner shank on mine isn't as long as yours. That and I just got an alignment. I may wait a bit till I attempt it. Like Thanksgiving break.

IC... you have the older ones huh?
A guy on UNYXterra.com has two Xterra's, both with Calmini UCA's... one has the older ones, one has the newer ones.... he sent me some pretty detailed instructions on putting the grease zerks in on the older ones thinking i had those.. so i'll see if i still have those PM's on that board, and i'll copy and paste them to a PM to you on this board... (not right now, but at some point when i have time to search for them)... hopefully that will help you out some

That was actually the day before the Copper Ridge run... So it had yet to get muddy...
But yes... I washed it today... sorry... won't let it happen again.

You'd better not....
It had better still be muddy from this weekends Rausch Run, at the next Rausch Run in February!:gunt:
