Hi guys, this is my first post here. Thanks for all the usefull information.
This friday I´ll depart to the north of Chile for a 8 day expedition through the beaches (very similar to Baja California).
The last month I have been modifiying a cargo trailer into an off road unit.
It came out very nice, we will see if it performs ok. I still need to change the hitch.
I´ll keep you posted on the expedition.
Sebastian.

Hey - congrats on a well thought out trailer - I like the flip top plus tailgate arrangement. What are your plans for the telescoping poles on the side?
Look forward to photos of your trip...

Suport for the awning. Probably I´ll bolt them lower. ( the poles are retractable)

Wow, that's a nice trailer! When you get back maybe you can do a quick writeup on the basics. I'm going to be in need of a good trailer soon, and the commercial options are tooo pricey. How much do you have in that one?

Well it´s difficult to compare prices since we are in different countries, anyway, originally this was a Aussie cargo trailer imported to Chile by a trailer company. I paid usd 1200 per the trailer and I had "invested" around usd 1000more in the modification....
