THanks but I have work. Ive noticed there are two different kinds of jeepers, ones that only wheel with jeeps probably mostly rock climbers and such and theres the jeepers who will go out with whoever which are most likely expedition type because all they want to do is go out and have fun no matter what the vehicle is. Just what ive noticed. No offense to anyone. On the other note how is the cliffs nowadays. I have a four door jeep and ive heard its not friendly of my kind, they say the trails are very narrow and such. Id be happy to go out with anyone in the future no matter what you have, just want to go out and explore with my jeep

Awesome! Ill defiantly have to check it out. Trying to stay away from the rock Crawler theme for my jeep, but I have had my 315s come into today and hopefully the lift will go on soon. After that skids, winch, and gears and gussets. Maybe a snorkel too. Just want to explore and have fun with the jeep not beat it up on purpose. We should start a Illinois expedition group no matter on vehicle!

Hey all,
Another new face here. Love the amazing adventures on these forums. I have always had a bit of an adventure streak though usually not so far from the beaten path.
Lived all over the upper midwest, currently in SW WI. Born in southern AZ although that doesn't mean much any more.
I am a european car enthusiast and rally enthusiast. I have owned a string of BMWs along with a mix of more truck-like vehicles. Jeep XJs, MJ, currently a 09 Grand (after the mid ninties I lost track of the Jeep modeling scheme) an isuzu Amigo, chevy silverado. A few motorcycles and boats, though all projects.
I am a mechnical design engineer in Dubuque and my better half works in quality. together we like running TSD rallys and working on all our hair-brained projects without going broke instantly.
For the record I attended MTU for a time and lived in Houghton for two years and have family in Calumet so I recognize a lot of territory up there, as well as the Chequamegon/Nicollet Forests, the Porkies, and on Lake Superior.
Cheers!

Newbie reporting in from North West Indiana. Retired Army, (28 years) partially disabled, married with one of each (teens). Looking to learn a lot as I plan to get the wife into traveling... REAL traveling, not hotel living. Currently building up a Ford Superduty. I call her my FSV, Family Support Vehicle. I was building her to tow a travel trailer. (make the wife happy) I'd rather travel light... like I did in the Army, camping on the vehicle. You can get to more remote areas. Just found out that a thing called the "Flip Pack" exists. A thousand possibilities with a set-up like that! Her she is so far...
