Anyone know a source for 16x6 or 16x7 factory Land Rover Discovery steel wheels?

Not a Rover guy, but is it these Nato wheels?

These are the stronger WOLF wheels. Since you appear to be going w/ the heavy duty approach I think these may be your best bet. HTH!

edit: David beat me to it, looks like the same ones. Scott, you are on a roll today, need any lotto tickets picked up, the EW Taco waxed, laundary done...

Motorcarsltd (http://www.motorcarsltd.com/wheels/land-rover-wheels.asp) has stock five spoke steel wheel listed in thier catalog as call for price and availability.

I spoke with my contact at Britishpacific and he said they quite carrying them due to the high cost ($160 or so a piece) but that they could order them out of the UK.

I would recomend the Wolf wheels in the posts above as a more cost effective solution.

If you do go the Wolfe route, keep in mind that they are available in both tube and tubeless versions.

These wheels were spares on most Disco 1s. Check the junkyards or the dealers may have some in back. I have them on my ambulance, it took about 4 months to get a set of 5 together.
