Nice........
The only problem I see is the rear departure angle.....and of course the massive width on tight trails. Other than that....customize the inside of the box and you are ready to go! I assume it has 4x4.
And.....how about a motorcycle rack on the back so if you have to park just before the tight trails......you can still get up there on your off road bike! And use the F550 as a base camp.
I like the external storage!
The side lights up top would be awesome! Except you couldn't see the stars for hours after you turned those on!......hehe
But I think I would enjoy and Piz or a Mog ....more.
NOT brand bashing....mind you!
I think if you paint it ExPo White......it would be perfect for it's intended use!.......:D

That is an ex-Forest Service or BLM fire rig. I would steer way away from those trucks, they get beat to hell everyday for 6+ months of the year and the fire crews delight in seeing how much abuse they can take.
Just my opinion after spending a lot of time with the fire crews...
EDIT: After a more detailed reading of the desciption I can tell that the vehicle was in 'Interior' rig, owned by the BLM. Internally owned rigs are not generally required to be sold at a certain mileage like 'GSA' leased vehicles are. The Interior rigs only get sold when it becomes more exspensive to maintain them than it would be to buy a new one.
Bottom line, it's been beat to hell and has issues.
WOW good input. I'm not interest for myself, (cabover for me), but your inputs are eye opens for anyone thinking of these (and here I though it was just rent-a-cars and military vehicles that took user beatings).
