Price & Shipping:

$ 6.00 for the first decal. $3.00 for each additional decal. Unfortunately I had to raise the price to simply cover my costs (it costs an average of $1.80 per envelope in just shipping - not to mention the cost of the envelope!) Shipping in North America is included and will be via standard post from Canada. This round, I will be packaging and shipping only once a week - every Sunday. If payment is in by Saturday, it will be packaged on Sunday and at the post office Monday morning. Payment will be via Paypal only this time. Shipping outside of Canada/USA is also available, usually for only about $2.00 more. Also, this time every shipment to the USA will have a customs declaration on it to hopefully avoid delays at the border. :safari-rig:

First come to this thread, first served. Please post how many decals you want in this thread and what color. Then, send me a PM with the same information. I will reply back with a PayPal e-mail address.

I appreciate the offer, but it just isn't inline with my values. I feel strongly that if a person spends money expecting to get a product they should either get the product or get their money back. Simple as that and I always do my best to stick to that.

Now i don't know of the particulars of the sale and if he's communicated with pete, but this kind of thing shouldn't have gotten this far.

Phil paid his money, and should have had the product 3.5 months ago.

To Pete and the admin's that may know him, Phil's a nice enough guy not to say it, but c'mon dudes, someone needs to print up a set and make this right. (along with anyone else who forked over cash for the decals)

In my opinion it doesn't matter if its $6 or $600.00...needs to be made right, none-the-less.

A little update on the whole decal thing. No I have not gotten the decal that I have bought yet, but I did receive one from a very thoughtful member (olympiccop2002) I guess he had extras so he set me a red one voluntarily. No it is not the color I wanted but it still works and I can't complain about someone sending me something they paid for. Do I still want the color I bought that was lost somewhere between Canada and Eugene, well of course. I could use another one since it is hard to see the gift decal where I put it.

Mountainpete was suppose to send another one after we realized the first one was never coming, but he has been absent from the boards now for a while and I do not believe it was sent. If I never receive the one I ordered then it is no big deal, I will just chalk it up as a donation and pretend it was to help with some grand expedition to an exotic destination.

good points thats why i:

1. mentioned the admin's, so they could help resolve it if pete wasn't able to.

2. didn't start a new thread, rather put it in the decal thread, so that it wouldn't become a "board" thing.

Something to keep in mind: Pete volunteered to do this on his own. The moderators and admin folks on ExPo are not involved with the stickers (or patches, or any other ExPo related retail stuff). We do not have the ability to "fix" anything related to it, other than to stop people from using the ExPo name on retail items. It appears that since people enjoy the retail items, individuals have been allowed (by Scott Brady, the owner) to use the ExPo name on those retail items.

Remember, you are buying those items from an individual member of the board, not from the boards owner, or any of the admin folks. Pete is a stand up guy, I'm sure he will take care of the problem when he can. But, like the rest of us, he is human, has bills to pay (making stickers is not his way of doing that), has a family to take care of, etc. Things happen from time to time. Right now, it is his time. When everything settles down and he has free time again, I'm sure he will resolve the issue.

I'm not going to put words in Mountainpete's mouth, but as one of the other earlier Canadian members on this board I've keept in touch with Pete over the years. Pete is a great guy and he will make things right. I can tell you that he has other dramatically more important concerns at the moment and decals are probably the last thing on this mind. I realize that you are owed something, but be patient please.

Without going into too many details, I have been ill for over a year now and went into a severe cycle late last year. I am getting better, but I still have a lot of problems. This is my first time online on ExPo in many months. It was not that I was avoiding ExPo, but rather that my time was spent mostly on researching my illness and coping.

Here is what I would like to do: anyone who paid but did not receive decals, please send me an E-MAIL to mountainpete<at>gmail<dawt>com with their address and order. I will send replacements out within 2 days of receiving their e-mail. It is going to take me a bit of time to go through any PMs.

For anyone that has not paid for decals but still wants one, I am sorry but I am not in a position to sell any more decals.

Again, I sincerely apologize for the issues. It's not how I traditionally operate and I appreciate the patience everyone has shown during a really difficult time for me.

I keep seeing this one in the $5 DVD bin at the video store. I practically have the dialogue memorized but I still need to add it to my video library. The 'baseball' gang always cracked me up. I picked up "The Outsiders" last week for $5. Whatta classic.
