I am about to purchase a 2004 Nissan Titan Crew Cab 4x4, with off-road package (rear locker and skid plates) and tow package. I'll keep this thread up to date with my progress on improving this vehicle for multi-day camping/overland travel. This will also be my daily driver and whatever else I might need it for.

Currently, it's stock, with some running boards and a Leer shell. First upgrades will be a set of Husky Liners and a finned diff cover for rear axle for better cooling. Tires will be next, as well as a better set of rocker protection.

I will post a picture once I take possession of the truck.

Well, I've been a Nissan "user" for a while now. Owned a 2000 Maxima for couple years and then traded for 2006 Frontier until last week.

Good choices, both.

Congrats on the new Titan. :clapsmile

One of the better looking new fullsizes available IMO. And the color will go over well with several folks here.

Thanks. I do plan to install 1.5" spacers on the front to level the truck a bit. Then it will get a set of custom sliders.
