Be different than everyone & their Jeeps! It's an 1987 Dodge Raider (or Mitsubishi Pajero Mk 1) with the 2L 4 cylinder and an automatic. The interior is phenomenal in it and it starts and drives no problem!

The frame does have some rust issues that would need to be taken care of however, which I sadly dont have the time to fix . There is some rust in a few spots on the body but nothing terrible.

The motor is the same that is in a Conquest/Starion, and has a brand new cylinder head on it! (which is worth as much as the whole truck itself)
It is still the carbureted model but it starts up no problem and drives beautifully.

Im looking to recoup some of my cost in this so im having to dump it at $1500 or best offer. Willing to part if need be to keep another few of these wicked little beasts going.

-3" flare front fiberglass fenders.
-front fox 2.0 x 8" shocks.
-Custom front bumper with receiver for winch. The winch receiver mount is also available but doesn't include the winch.
-Custom rear bumper for maximum clearance, just recently finished and painted.
-Rock sliders made from 2" x 4" tube and welded to the frame in 4 places with gussets.
-Detroit Truetrac torsen limited slip differentials front and rear.
-4.88 axle gears.
-T100 CV shafts to retain 4wd plus a spare cv.
-locking hubs.
-rear OME 900 lift coils and rancho 10" travel shocks.
-Trail gear 4.7:1 gears in the transfer case.
-Custom bent 3/8" thick skid plate/transmission crossmember for 3" more clearance than stock (1/2" drivetrain lift).
-I rebuilt the transmission a year ago with all new bearings and synchros and put in a new clutch and rear main seal.
-2" wheel spacers on the rear.
-33x12.5R15 BFG mud terrains with about 50% tread remaining.
-rear wheelwells opened up 3/4" all around and rewelded. Any rust was cut out and fixed with new sheetmetal. The 33's stuff perfectly in the wheelwells.

It has been an amazing vehicle, but I'm short on space and want to focus time and energy on my Land Cruiser.

I'll list specs and post run of the mill for sale pics here, but I suggest checking out this link or the one in my signature for the build thread which contains more pictures and lots of details.

Details:

- 1985 Toyota 4Runner. This was the last year the convertible cousin to the pickup was available with a solid axle and the first with electronic fuel injection. If you know these trucks you will recognize that this one is in great shape (keep reading)

- 181,250 on the odometer. The previous owner stated the top end was done including timing chain around 160k. I believe this to be true but have no receipts to prove. Regardless, the truck starts and runs true every time. I flew to Salt Lake City and drove this thing across the country without a hiccup, and I would drive it to South America tomorrow if life would let me.

- Transmission and transfer case have ~2,000 miles and were professionally done at Moab Offroad in Louisville, KY. BTW, feel free to contact Max Dollinger, the owner of the shop, about this truck. They have done all of the mechanical and electrical work and he can speak honestly to the overall condition of this vehicle.

- All-pro suspension including hi-steer - appears to be of the 4" variety

- Steering box is drilled and tapped to accommodate hydraulic steering components

- 33x12.50x15 BFG KM2's on black steelies. Tires have less than 5,000 miles. Full size spare is an older style Goodyear MTR in the same size with half tread.

- Optima Yellow Top

- Supra MAF and K&N Intake by P.O. He also removed the A/C and belt in an attempt to increase power. I don't know about that. I have the parts (among other spares) and they will go with the vehicle should the new owner decide he/she wants air conditioning

- Stock running gear as far as I can tell. I was told 4.88's and Longfields. I am 90% certain the axles have 4.10's. The truck came with Longfield stickers, but I never got around to pulling the axles apart to verify. I'm ignoring this and supposed engine work in my asking price. Maybe it's someone's lucky day!

- Front bumper has been modified to fit a heavy duty winch plate. The truck comes with a newish Warn M8000 - I used it several times on one trip to Coal Creek. It's not pictured below as I recently removed the winch and winch plate to beef up the stock mounting points with 2" square tube. You could hang this truck from the statue of liberty now.:D

- Rear bumper is homebrew and includes a swing out tire carrier that holds one 5 gallon MFC and a 5 lb propane tank. I also use it for a table/bar when camping (see build thread)

- Inside the vehicle is very clean. I've not cleaned the inside or the outside of the truck for these pics. If I decide to sell local I will shine everything up, but I know you guys want to see it in its natural state. I've included close up pictures of the problem spots - DS door mounted arm rest, center console arm rest, one spot on dash, and PS rear corner that PO tried to bondo but I just left alone.

- Interior also includes custom storage/sleeping platform with 250 lb fridge slides and 250 lb bed slides (see build thread).

- Front seat were swapped out for later model Toyota seats. I'm not sure which ones exactly, but they are much more comfortable than other 1st gens I've ridden in. They are covered in saddle blanket style covers which fit very well and look killer IMO.

- This truck did not come with back seats. Instead it has the coveted seat delete panel. This turns the read of the truck into a, you guessed it, TRUCK bed. :) I acquired a set of '85 seats and interior panels to accommodate the seat back latches which is what you see pictured below. The stock bed mat in the rear is really good shape and is made to fit the delete panel as you can see in one of the pics with the seats folded down. The seats fold up fine with it back there, too. There are no rear seat belts.

- Underbelly - it has surface rust that may concern some. No one who has seen the vehicle in person has expressed concern, but I want to be up front about every aspect of the truck in case someone decides to take a trip to pick this thing up. The PO tried to spray paint over a few spots. I have peeled back the paint as much as possible (see below) to expose the surface and show that there are no hollow spots.

- Finally, the truck has a salvage title. I did not know this when I purchased the truck. We had some issues after the sale with the transfer, and by the time I found out I was more concerned with just getting the paperwork done. As far as I can tell there was a collision on the front passenger side. I say that because the fender appears to have been replaced. I ran a carfax a couple of years back that made me think the same thing (can't remember specifics). My guess is the owner let the insurance company total it, bought it back, replaced the fender, and kept on trucking.

- This truck is painted in flat khaki. Again, I made no attempt to clean things up for these pictures. I have 6-7 cans of the matching paint (which is the tan color from the Rustoleum camo line) that will go with the truck.

This is the infamous "Warn" Pinzgauer. It was prepared by a German company for Warn Industries and Mike Warn to race/drive in the 1994 Warn Trophy (predecessor to the Croatia Trophy), I do believe the truck still has a video that comes with it of Mike driving it in the 94 event. It is an ex-Austrian Pinz so slightly different than the ex-Swiss Pinzies. The truck is done up in Warn colors (red, black, white) and has an exo-cage over the cab. It has older recaro racing seats, a total of 6. In the bed is a rail system that the 4 racing seats mount to as well as a number of high quality aluminum German made cargo boxes. This allows for many configurations for the seats plus cargo boxes in the back. It also had a unique cab back on the cab which separates the bed from the cab and there is even a sliding rear window fitted to this. It is all nicely made.

Ten yrs ago the truck had some rot in the cab. The rust was fairly extensive around the kick vents (kick vents are an Austrian only on a Pinz) and the footwells. I purchased a new body (ex-Swiss) from Linden Engineering in Denver. This was the whole front body piece from half way up the rear bed to the nose. In other words a whole cab + half the bed. This is brand new from Swiss surplus and still had OD green military paint on it. This went with the truck when I sold it and from what I have heard is still with the truck and needing to be installed. When I sold the truck it had an non-working Espar diesel fired heater. I performed extensive mechanical repairs to the truck, to the total of about $18k!! x6 Rancho 8000 adjustable shocks, new limiting straps, 7x Super Swamper Boggers, petronix ign., rebuilt carbs, one piece axle boots, new clutch, TD Pinz front coil springs, new windows sewn in canvas top, all new brakes, rebuilt e-brake and much more was done by me. This was going on 10yrs ago but I think the truck has seen little use since. From what I have heard it has been mostly sitting since I sold it.

I am not selling this truck. I am simply passing on info and willing to put you in contact with the owner. All info I have is second hand and rumor but from a very good source. I am passing this along and willing to help find the truck a good home, it is very worthy of a good home. It is rich in history that is well documented. This truck even raced in North Africa in the late 90's, Morocco to be exact. It was imported to the USA in 2001 by Sean Philiway with EuroTruck Importers. I purchased it from a Pinz collector in Indiana. As far as I know it is still here, aka Jackson, Wyoming. I have not seen the truck locally though since 2006/7 but I am told the owner is actively trying to sell it with no luck.

I have been told price is $15k. Pm me if you want more info or to be put in direct contact with the owner. I want nothing in return other than a good home for the Pinz.

History
The current owner has been a Land Rover enthusiast since the early 70s. Back then he had owned a couple of Series IIIs that served as his daily transportation both around town and across the country. In the mid 90s he began searching for what he had envisioned as the perfect Land Rover; a Series IIa with its iconic wire mesh grill and all metal dash, yet with a more modern engine. His search took him all the way to Alberta, Canada where the Rover you see here today had been restored. Having spent its life on the Northern Great Plains it was virtually free of the rust that plagues so many eastern Rovers. It had been fitted with the German engineered V6 from a 1977 Mercury Capri, a compact motor that fit well in the Rovers engine bay. The restoration was extensive and included a full body off, bare metal repaint in the desirable Land Rover color, Coniston Green. In other words it was perfect! A deal was made, it was imported into the US and it was driven back to Connecticut. Over the last couple of decades the Rover has been treated exceptionally well; stored indoors during the winters and driven occasionally during good weather and not used off road at all. It has been meticulously maintained, I personally serviced this Rover extensively over the last year. Now the owner has taken a new direction with the purchase of a 1947 Greyhound bus converted into a camper. So the time has come to find a new owner for his well loved Land Rover.



Body
The body is exceptionally straight, with some dings mostly on the doors, there is a scratch on the right front fender and very minor scratches elsewhere. The Coniston Green paint is nearly perfect, with no fading, checking or bubbling; the only exception is the tailgate where some of the paint has a rough texture. There does not appear to be any body filler used at all. There is no rust on the bulkhead, grill, door frames or door tops, there is no corrosion on the aluminum body panels at all. The weather stripping, seals and window felts are in great shape. The canvas top is only 1 year old and in perfect shape. Soft top Land Rovers did not come with any form of roll over protection but this one has had a roll cage fitted, a really big improvement in safety. All the galvanized trim was either replaced with NOS Land Rover parts or properly regalvanized. The door latches work perfectly, there is no sag in the door hinges and all body panels are nicely aligned. The only slight amount of surface rust on the entire Rover is on the headlight and taillight guards.


Engine
The engine is a 2.8 liter v6 from a 1977 Mercury Capri. This is a German designed engine with characteristics well suited to the Land Rover. The Rover is a pleasure to drive with this engine. It is one of the factors that the current owner had to have after having owned Rovers with the stock 2.25 liter engine. The motor runs great with no knocking or smoking and is fitted with dual exhaust. The carburetor has been recently rebuilt so the motor runs smooth and efficient. Also a new high torque starter has been recently installed. There is a very small amount of coolant leaking from possibly the thermostat housing, there are really no oil leaks to speak of.

Transmission and Transfer Case
The transmission is a fully synchronized unit from a series III, normally Series IIa Rovers have a non synchronized first and second gear which requires double clutching. This one shifts just like any manual transmission car. The Series IIa shifter and shift knob have been retained. The transmission was rebuilt about 5 years ago and a new clutch was added at the same time. The transfer case works as it should and 4x4 and low range engage smoothly. The oil in the transmission and transfer case was changed last year.

Axles
The axles have had their oil changed last year as well as the drive shafts and u-joints greased.

Suspension
The Rover retains its original leaf springs, the rear spring bushings and some shock bushings have been recently replaced. The BF Goodrich tires are in great shape with lots of tread and no dry rot. They are size 7.50-16, which is a couple inches taller than the original tire size. The taller tires coupled with the more powerful engine allows the Rover to cruise at a higher speed than an originally equipped one.

Frame
The frame is in excellent condition with no rust or rot, even the highly rust susceptible rear crossmember and outriggers are original and rust free!

Interior
The interior is great shape, the seats have no rips at all and there are genuine land Rover rubber mats front and back. The dash is just beautiful, and is in its original configuration with the exception of some addition gauges to monitor oil pressure, voltage and engine temperature. The original heater and defroster work great. Also included with the Rover are 2 rear jump seats in excellent condition, these will provide seating for 4 in the back bringing the total seating to 7.


Brakes
The Rover has power brakes with a dual circuit master cylinder, this is a big improvement from earlier Land Rover braking systems. The brakes have recently been overhauled with new rear wheel cylinders and brake shoes as well as all new brake drums and new master cylinder.

Electrical
Everything works in the Rover including high and low beam headlights, parking lights, taillights, brake lights, horn, wipers, dash lights and gauges.
An Alpine stereo and CD changer have been tastefully installed so as not to detract from the original look of the dash. The heavy duty battery is only a couple years old.

This is a great truck and I'm really bummed I have to sell it. Color is Silver Streak Mica. It is a 4WD, 2.7L 4-cylinder, 5-speed manual with 4.10 gears. I purchased Certified Used and it has been given full synthetic oil changes and OEM Toyota filters every 4,000 miles. It has a bench seat, sliding rear window, professional tint, gets 23 MPG on the highway with 33" tires, and the A/C works great. It is very clean inside & out. Daily driven for the last three years. It has never been abused.

The truck has no mechanical issues whatsoever. The throw out bearing chatters while decelerating from freeway speeds and it has been doing this since I purchased it. The noise has in no way been indicative of a problem, but it is there.

Body and paint are in great shape, no fading, huge chips or dings, etc. Arizona truck so definitely no rust. No notable dents or body damage whatsoever. Minimal pin striping from Arizona brush. All plastic body parts are in great shape (i.e. not dry/faded). Only cosmetic gripes I have is the shifter boot falls out of its clips and drops inside the center console and the sliding rear window rubber doesn't like to stay put. Neither are a "problem" as the window still seals perfectly and the boot doesn't affect shifting when it falls but they're one of those things that bug you and I'm trying not to hide anything. The windshield has a number of chips in it so I will have that and the windshield wipers replaced right before I deliver it to the new owner, that way everything is fresh.

66,150 highway miles currently on the ODO. I purchased it at 38k miles. Aftermarket parts were installed starting around 46k miles so there isn't a single part on it that has more than 20k on it. Tires only have about 6k on them. Title is clear, in hand and ready to go immediately. No accidents, no surprises, clean Carfax.

I had planned to install a heavy duty clutch, aftermarket upper control arms, and a rear locker in the coming months, but then I found out about the baby. That will just give the next owner some stuff to tinker with.

Leather, dual sunroofs. A stack of receipts; I bought it as a cpo truck from LR Buckhead in '04. I would rate it as NADA 'good'. She needs a few things, but I wouldn't hesitate to drive her on a long roadtrip. This is my current daily driver and gets 13-16 mpg.

Here's a list of details (good and bad) about the truck:

-Mobil 1 oil used for oil changes every 4-6k miles
-a stack of receipts dating from when I bought the truck in '04
-recent trans fluid change along with filter; also the t-case
-genuine rubber mats throughout; they could use a presure wash
-RTE weld-on front diff guard
-rebuilt front DS with zerks
-'03-04 cupholders
-solid motor mounts
-rock lights
-all power windows work
-includes one working remote key fob; one key that's missing the guts for the remote
-heat and a/c work
-painted headliner (no more droop)

-a box of spares; rear axles, t-stats, hoses, rotoflex, lots of other things
-I've never let it get hot

There's probably more good that I can't recall right now.

Now, the bad:

-there's a rattle on startup. Luke at The Shop (British Truck Repair in Norcross) thinks that it's either cats or the flexplate.
-the peeling paint on the B pillar as seen in the pic
-the rear sunroof is sealed shut.
-there is still an occasional leak from the roof area. It's intermittant and it didn't leak this past weekend when we had all of the rain.
-cruise control isn't working
-driver's heated seat isn't working
-the surround for the window switches was broken and I haven't replaced it.
-the CDL lever (over $300 by itself) is installed but I can't get the t-case to lock.
-three amigos are on full time, but the traction control still works.
-there's a trim piece missing from the driver's door
-tear on the driver's seat bolster

Listed on the Atlanta CL for $4500. I'll take $3000.

I’ve owned it since 119K miles (2/2009). Selling to upgrade to a 100 series. I need something for running easy to moderate trails. So before I commit to sliders, etc., I thought I would try to find a new home.

A lot has been done to this Jeep and it is amazing, I hate to see it go but I need a truck and don't ever have the time to take it offroading. It really is a great Jeep and the LJ's really are hard to come by these days. It does have some things that need to be done to it before it should be taken off road. The rear track bar mount to the axle and broken off, it has been re-welded and a bracket welded to make it stronger but the best fix in my opinion is to rear truss the axle and triangulate the uppers and that would both make it better on road and off road but it will get rid of the rear track bar too making the axle overall stronger.

I've been on this forum for a while now reading and learning and "stealing" ideas from others and ended up with these and thought I would post them here.

2001 International 4900
2 wheel drive
DT466E engines, very strong
Allison automatics
Onan diesel generators with electric start from inside the cab
Hy Rail attachments for running on the rail still attached
11R22.5 tires on aluminum budd rims
Air rid driver seats
Lots of storage inside in cabinets and drawers, all custom built and are industrial quality with locking drawers etc.
Three A/C units on each truck, come and inspect because not all of them work.
Plenty of plug ins for 110volt appliances and some 3phase.

They all run really well and I would not worry about driving one cross country, as a matter of fact they drive really well on the highway. I am putting them up here because they look like they would be good overland vehicles. No bathrooms and no beds but a LOT of room inside. Mileage varies from 230K to 350K. Let me know if you have any questions or would like to inspect. I have a few pictures and can get more if needed.

Asking $9500 a piece and would encourage inspections since they are all a little different. Located in Little Rock, Arkansas.

City-tough gwagen for sale. This G was "found" a couple of years ago here in Portland and has since had a lot of work done with the running gear. Since 2010 when I purchased it I've done interior/exterior body work with a new paint job and some accessories. Below is a detailed list of recent upgrades:

1. 617A diesel engine from a 1985 300SD California Edition. The car was broadsided and had ~125,000 miles on it. The intent was to keep as much of the SD's engine supporting pieces in tact (radiator, etc). At the time of the swap out there was a recent adjustment of the valves done on this motor. I have put about 5,000 miles on it since the new motor.
2. Tires -- 2005
3. Exhaust system replacement -- 2008
4. Driveline straighten and balance -- 2008
5. Transmission rebuild -- 2008
6. Wheel bearing kit front -- 2009
7. Flush and patch fuel tank -- 2012
8. Paint job (MB Onyx Gray color 721) including replacing passenger and driver foot floor boards, rhino liner interior base -- 2012. There is now zero rust on this vehicle. $10.7k
9. Front brake caliper rebuild -- 2012
10. Dual RedTop battery installation with wench -- 2012. $3k
11. Trailer lights setup (us version)

Included are the wench, the original vinyl carpets (now replaced with Rhino Liner), a stainless steel brush guard (painted black) and a pair of Recaro seats with all needed hardware for installation.

I installed additional insulation wherever possible in this van because we live in Colorado and camp year round. I also re-routed the water lines to all be interior instead of in the walls to help prevent freezing. As mentioned above I recently insulated and upholstered the ceiling. It turned out great! I have also made an effort to “black out” (paint black or replace with black) almost every outlet, switch and electrical panel.
I have been meticulous about maintenance with this rig because we travel far off of the beaten path. Aside from a water pump issue this vehicle has never stranded us or let us down.
All incandescent lights have been switched to LED’s All receipts available for all work performed.
Exhibits general wear and scratches for a SMB that has been used as designed. The term ”Desert Pinstriping” is fitting. I can send pics of any details that could be deemed unsavory.

The truck is mechanically in sound conditions, following parts have been replaced/work performed within the last 40’000 kilometers: Clutch, brakes, leafsprings, gaskets, wheel bearings, engine gaskets, valve adjustment. Over the last 3 months we have invested over US$ 3’000 into the vehicle, including 4 brand new BF Goodrich AT tires, gaskets and bearings of the power steering pump, oil pump, brake master cylinder have been replaced. Both fan belts and the pulley of the oil pump and the break lines are new, front shocks and all exhaust supports have been replaced. Wir sind ein junges Schweizer Paar und seit 3 Monaten mit unserem treuen TOYOTA LAND CRUISER 1985 in Südamerika unterwegs.
Den Wagen haben wir von einem Deutschen in Santiago gekauft. Dieser ist innert 1.5 Jahren von San Fracisco nach Südamerika gefahren. Der Wagen ist Mechanisch in einem einwandfreien Zustand. Vor 40'000km wurden:Kupplung, Bremsen , Blattfedern, Dichtungen, Rost, Lager vorne, Motordichtungen und Ventile eingestellt und gewechselt/erneuert. Wir haben in den letzten 3 Monaten ca. 3000US$ investiert. Dies beinhaltet: 4 nagelneue Pneu's, (BF Goodrich All-Terrain, Schlauchlos, Luftdruck kann auf Sand bis 0,8 Bar abgelassen werden) Dichtungen und Lager an Öl- und Servopumpe, Gummis an Bremspumpe, beide Rücklichter, beide Keilriemen, Pulli Ölpumpe, Bremsleitungen Stahlflex, Stossdämpfer vorne, alle Auspuffaufhängungen erneuert, Bremsflüssigkeit, Getriebeöl und Differentialöl gewechselt. Der Verbrauch liegt bei unter 17 l/100km Benzin mit grossem Dachgepaecktraeger. Das erscheint viel, ist jedoch fuer dieses Model unterm Durchschnitt. Momentan haben wir 420'000km auf der Uhr was für dieses Modell allerdings kein Problem darstellt da der Wagen von mir und meinem Vorbesitzer gehegt und gepflegt wurde. Öl wurden alle 3000 Miles gewechselt.
Der Wagen ist perfekt ausgebaut wir haben den Innenausbau aufgefrischt. Rückbank ist umklappbar und in 2 Minuten zum Bett umfunktioniert. Haben eine mit Leder eingefasste Matratze angefertigt sowie LED Beleuchtungen angebracht. Dies erleichtert die Handhabung bei Dunkelheit enorm.Die Scheiben des hinteren Teiles sind getönt, somit hat man morgens nur wenig licht im Auto. Der Wagen verfügt über 2 Batterien eine Starterbatterie, (100Ah) sowie eine Campingbatterie (neu 20.04.13 100Ah) über diese Kühlbox, Beleuchtung, 12v Steckdosen ect. Ohne Einbussen der Starterbaterie genutzt werden können. Dies ermöglicht einem die Kühlbox bei Abwesenheit durchgehend in betrieb zu halten. Das Auto hat sehr viel Stauraum, unter dem Bett befinden sich 6 Stauboxen sowie weiterer Platz zum verstauen von Habseligkeiten.

Wir verkaufen den Wagen mit kompletter Campingausrüstung sowie Werkzeug und Ersatzteile. Das heisst: Kühlbox (neu Argentinien) Gaskocher (neu Argentinien) Kissen und Decke, Kochutensilien.(Pfannen, Teller, Besteck, Schneidebretter, Rüstmesser, Becher, Tassen, Kochlöffel, Abwaschutensilien, Kaffekocher, Toster ect.) des weiteren im und am Fahrzeug: 2mal 20l Kanister, 20l Wassertank auf Dachständer, 2 Campingstühle, Lenkschloss, Werkzeugkoffer, Multimeter, Plane für Vorzelt, diverses Handwerkzeug ( Schraubenzier, Hammer, Zangen ect.) It has the working PTO winch on the front as well, which is REALLY COOL! and works!

It's time for me to move on from my Tahoe despite all the fun I've had with it on the trails and in the mud.

I'm the only owner of the truck and it has less than 54,000 miles. The only wreck it's been in was a minor fender bender where only the bow tie was broken. The car has had its share of trail riding and some mudbogging, which has left the paint job pretty wrecked and the back bumper unsnapped at some points, but nothing actually structural. There are also small holes on the casing of each side mirror, a small dent on the hood, and the silver on the bottom bumper is flaking off. Nothing major, but you can tell she's been places.

I've had a Blackbear tune installed, along with a Corsa Sport exhaust, K&N air intake, Toyo 285 M/Ts, a leveling kit, and LT mirror caps and door handles.

I hope I can find her a new home soon. The Blue Book ranges from 27+:24+, so along with the work that's been put into the truck I'd be happy with $25,000-$26,000. Let me know if you have any intrest or questions. Located in Sewanee, TN for the next two weeks, then Jacksonville, FL.

For Sale:

1995 Land Rover 5 speed Discovery 1 (7 passenger). Painted Arles Blue w/ white roof. ( originally silver) Interior is sona grey. This Discovery 1 has a new re-stained dash w/ no airbags, on ABS. The gauges read in km/per hour as this binical has all the correct Glow plug lights and no Unleaded logo :). This rover has ZERO rust issues. I have also been through the doors and frame and coated them with Crest Honey Coat. Truck was repainted in 2012. No body damage or dents, again no rust. Headliner and interior in great shape. This truck has no sunroof ( bonus as it has no leaks) It has a cloth interior and 94 style manual seats. I have all documents on the conversion.

Professionally converted in 2011 from V8 to 300 tdi by Cityside garage located in Holiston, MA. http://www.citysidegarage.com/ Tdi had 78K when installed and had covered just over 18K since conversion.

Following upgrades were done.

Engine:
New Dayco Timing belt kit, new injectors, Glow Plugs,Glow plug timer, new tensioner bearing, water pump, lift pump, PS pump, Power steering box, all belt and hoses were replaced, Silicone turbo hoses, new rear main seal and front cam seal,new battery, Rebuilt injector pump, rebuilt alternator, Full Stainless steel exhaust. new engine and gearbox mounts.

Gearbox:
New clutch kit, resurfaced flywheel, Throw out bearing and fork lever.

General:
5 new wolf military steel rims, BFG A/T’s with just under 5k on them, New rear drive shaft / U joint style. All hubs were rebuilt. New rear rotors. All new pads. Rovertym rock sliders with extra side step, new shocks and tubular shock towers.Winch bumper w/ steering guard. UK spec trailer mount. New gaskets on rear windows. Saudi Spec Front Grill.



Interior:
New all 5 door have new actuators, front doors have new window lift arms. both front seats has new Exmoor Trim blatter. All 4 door handles have been replaced. Rear door handle replaced, New Dash was installed and re-stained due to typical dash curl . Full set of matching grey factory seat covers. New ignition key tumbler. Custom rear load space mat. New rear Aluminum door panel.

I have LOTS! of extra parts including: a set of matching front seats no rips or tears. All 4 door panels, all 4 windows and rails etc. rear wiper motor and arm, door actuators, AC/ heater controls, plastic sill trim, door locks and hinges, extra switches and dash parts. etc. which all go with the truck.

Drivers side of camper has 5 foot counter top with fridge below and mounted sink and electric stove. Cabinets below for cooking pots and other storage.

The truck is in great mechanical condition. When I purchased it I had it serviced by Red Label Automotive in Vacaville, who does the work for Expedition Imports. New Brake pads and rotors were installed, turbo charger was rebuilt, new fuel pump and fuel primer pump. All the filters and fluid have been changed to approved MB fluids. Amsoil fluids were used in portals, axles, transmission. Engine runs great and starts easily. Tires have good tread on them including the two spares. I redid the battery system and added four 4D AGM batteries with proper fuses and switches. I also added a Bluesea battery charger to charge the house batteries while driving. I repainted the grill black (Looks much better)

There are a few issues: Clear coat on the hood is pealing, Fuel float needs to be bent up a little..its off. Turbo needs a new pyro sensor for its accessory gauge( I haven't had it done because you can clearly tell if the turbo isn't working when going up a hill), also needs a new fuse for the turn signals/flashers. One of the spares has some dry rot, still drivable if you needed it but should be changed at some point.

Its registered in California as an RV so registration is only about $110 a year!

After expanding our family by another human (6 month old), we feel we may have outgrown our perfect little truck camper that has taken 3 of us (2 humans and a large dog) seemingly everywhere in a short period of time. We really enjoyed working with the good folks at Phoenix popups to build a custom camper specific for our outdoor lifestyle back in early 2010 and look forward to working with them again. This has been one great rig for us and may be tough to part with.

Our custom camper was built with an all aluminum frame and built to fit perfectly on a 2009 Toyota Tacoma long bed. The inside of the camper pops up to 6'4''. We had an extra long cab over bedding area (Queen) that does not require any adjustments within the cabin to sleep. We took advantage of light tech wood composites on the interior to help maximize the weight savings while not skimping on nicer items such as a 3 way fridge/freezer combo, hot water heater, 3 burner stove, heater and outdoor shower. All interior lights are LEDs which help to keep power consumption to a minimum.

The queen sized bedding area features an under bed storage area for clothes plus a secondary storage area at the very front for things like books maps, computers and other items that you like to keep safe. We have a brand new 4 inch memory foam mattress as our bed.

The camper ceiling contains two vents, one of which is a fantastic fan with brand new replacement screen material. We had the roof reinforced with extra Aluminum at the time of build in order to safely load and carry gear. I am 215 pounds and could stand on the roof (closed) without any concern. The roof contains full Yakima tracks from front to back to haul all of the gear you can fit on your rig. We also had assist lift shocks built into the camper to help lift the roof when it is loaded with gear.
