  • Hey man. so what weve been calling the diff, he is calling the third member. Ive heard people call it that, not sure where the name comes from. Some also call it a pumpkin. So basically he said you can pull out the internal components which would be the two axle shafts adn the diff setup, or you could even swap the whole "axle" as in what you see when you look under the truck. to get the third member off its just like 8-10 bolts on the driveshaft side of the axle housing and then disconnect the driveshaft and its free. axle shafts are five bolts each i think just take the wheel off then five bolts for the axle and slide it right out, then put the wheel back on.

    Btw if this all comes together then i may be interested in the wheels and we could try to do a package deal and save money. Id love to have a "street" set to save my muds for off road trips.
