  • I don't have a second battery yet, but when I do I think I'm going to go with a National Luna isolator and run the dual battery monitor into the cab and figure otu a place to mount that. The hard part with Rams is finding where to actually physically put the second battery-on a Hemi like mine the stock airbox is in the way for a battery tray from a diesel, and after market exhausts still use that space, so you have to solve that problem before you can do a second battery. Inverters are a whole other story. Like on my 04 you can't actually flip the back seat forward to get to the back wall which is a good place to mount an inverter, instead the seat flips up to odd shaped storage. But if you could take the seat back out temporarily to mount the inverter, then run wiring to outlets where ever you want that might work, I like the idea of having 110V outlets on the outside of the bed near the cab and on the inside of the bed near the tailgate.
