Backpack Buckles - help please

Hi Everyone,

Can anyone help with this?

I have just managed to snap a plastic double side release buckle on my new backpack. In order to repair it I need to find a quite specific spare part.
Namely a plastic 25mm buckle that can be fitted onto a loop of webbing WITHOUT sewing.

I've had a google around but can find nothing suitable.

Any tips?

Thanks!

Rich

If you have a local outdoors store that sells packs and the like, they probably have spare parts on the shelf. Sometimes online isn't always the easiest. Another good option is a fabric store.

Just about any shoe repair, canvas, or leather goods shop can sew strapping. I've also had success going to fabric stores and asking if anyone can help.

Use caution if buying only 1/2 of a clip. There are Many styles of clip, and you are more likely to find a pair to install than one half to fit your other.

I've bought stuff from SeattleFabrics before too. Good shop. REI also has a variety of buckles and straps in their stores
