I've been sitting behind this desk waaayy too long this week
Need to stretch my Legs and my suspension! :luxhello:

I may be spending the night at my in-laws in Surprise.
If so I am thinking about getting a quick trail ride in on Saturday morning.
Something in the area and something that will only be a 1/2 day or so. Out early back by noon...

I have found a trial called "Vulture Mountains Trail" beginning in Morristown off of US 60. It was in the Backcountry Adventures book, is 13 miles long and passes a few old mines established by Mr. Wickenburg back in the day. It's only rated at a 3 in that book but since it's close to me it may be perfect for an early Sat AM exploration.

So part of this trail crosses the Hassayampa River.
Does anyone know if the River is flowing in that area now?
Has anyone done this trail?
Anyone want to go?
Anyone have any other rides planned?

Sounds like fun Brian, but my weekend is already booked up. I am also going to do Broken Arrow next Sunday and then DeSoto on the following Saturday. I don't think the hand brake will allow another trip this month.
