I thought id go ahead and post what has been done and where it is now and what is to come.

bought it back in march of 2006 as a 2001 2wd sport edition 4runner, after about 4 months i went with a brush guard and 265/75/16 goodyear mtrs pictured below.

lifted ever so slightly for a tellico run that i didnt do much of anyways, added lockrite

i took it on small trips while being 2wd and i did get a locker for it, lifted it with 4 different front ends and 2 rear end setups, first was 2.5" cornfed spacer, then to tundra coils and 2 top outs, then to donahoes and now to OME 883 customs with topout, went from 891s in rear to LC springs and havent changed since.

carnage canyon run after all lockers were installed to test them out, with 4wd and 5:1 transfer case

utah expedition in canyonlands, did not have tent but used cargo box/sleeping platform in back for main use of sleeping, i tend to remedy this soon with RTT

going through nebraska on way to home and Virginia Tech to see a friend during spring break.

If you don't mind me asking, how much is that CBI Bumper? My rear bumper needs replacing and I figured I might as well get one with a swing out tire carrier if the price was right, otherwise black stocker for me. Also, that appears to be a trailer hitch in there. Is it legal to tow with? I only ask because I have read about other bumpers that have receivers that are not ok to tow with.

You can legally tow with a bumper like that as long as you have it wired up of course. The only issue is that U-haul just won't rent to you.
