Finally another Rover

I had to sell my D90 before moving to the US. When I got here I got a 2000 Isuzu Trooper, but I didn't like that much. So after all I finally got another Rover a 1996 Discovery :).
What a difference!!! Now, this is a 4x4, expedition capable vehicle!
Take a look!

Good to have another Rover here. Are you based in Colorado? I see your profile lists WY, but the plates on the car are CO. And where did you move from?

cheers

Great looking truck! The Disco I is the classic safari rig.

Just curious. What did you not like about the Trooper?

congrats! indeed, good looking.

did you purchase it with the arb and winch already on it? that's a fairly hardcore upgrade that kinda doesn't jive with the low hanging running boards..

whats the plan for future mods?

Congrats on the new truck... It sure looks like a nice rig.

Any mods or trips you have planned for it?

Hey gjackson I live in Laramie, WY (Moved here from Colombia 6 months ago). The car has colorado plates in the pictures because they were taken the day I bough it. As for the running boards, yeah they are off now.

And now - the beat goes on

Hooray for me. I bought Iggy's Disco. What a great guy, what a fantastic vehicle. Ran it up to 80mph on the way home... tracked like it was on rails. Fantastic! I can't wait to find a spot for low-range with diff's locked.

Thank you Hernando... only 150 miles so far and we already love the truck...

First purchase: Warn M8000 next ARB rock sliders.

Lunch at La Carreta was delicious. Travel safe Amigo...

Best of luck on your new eco-tour company. See you in Colubia.
