As a tallish skinny boy from Missouri, I can honestly say it is difficult to find pants that fit my long legs and small waist here at home. I love shopping in Colorado because I can find pants that fit in a variety of colors and styles.

^LOL - the poor SC girl.... You can see that they included DC as a poll member, right? :)

Another bad showing for the South. Too bad, but having lived down there for much of my teen and early 20's, there's some really damn good food, it rains too much outside of summer, and the summer is miserably humid and hot.

I'm not sympathizing, but I can see why....and it's why I'm in Colorado now.

The epidemic of obesity in this country is frightening!
The CDC has a PowerPoint slide presentation available for download (CDC Obesity) that shows a series of US maps with the % of obese adults per state. If you run through the slides you'll see how dramatic a change this has been in less than a generation.
Here's an out-take (see below).
Pardon the pun, but it's a HUGE problem!
The current generation of children less than age 18 may be the first in U.S. history to have a life expectancy LESS than their parents!

BTW...Coloradans shouldn't gloat. They've gone from <10% obese to 15-19% obese...they're getting fatter also!
