Also, if your rig is lifted or the torsion bars cranked, the cv axle boots will tear up much sooner. These release that.

Looks good justice
No additional parts needed unless you lose a snap ring.
It's really simple to install. Take the old flanges off. Pull the snap ring off.
Ready the new hubs by taking the outer caps off....
I replaced the transfer case/ transmission sleeve, and one of the cv axle boots were busted. It was one or the other. The sleeve was worn a bit, but the cv axle could have let loose as well. Though...
Roll cage! Lol
I knew you were a builder. Encouragement is what I was attempting. Seriously, think about it..... That car. 400rwhp. Lots of pony owners will think something is wrong with their new rides. :). At the...
You know with the intercooler, exhaust, and port job you can get a custom tune and probably be near 260 or better at the RW. May need fuel upgrades, but if you go just right, you're talking even more...
So..... In case I missed it, what's in the engine bay of that there wagon? I can see it has a turbo set up and some nice ignition parts...... Do tell! (please include RWHP)
And you were there huh? Lol. Kool aide for all!
Over it, unless someone cares to see the invoice. Seriously, I don't care. I won't be back. That is all. BTW, Nathan and Tim are still good guys in...
Nah. I fixed it. I won't go back. Now, this is my build thread and I'm done saying anything about them. I'm not worried about the money anyhow. I'm less stressed without dealing with it personally....
I'll put this right here. :)
Hmmm
Okay, I'm about done fixing this thing. Should be in tip top shape by Tuesday evening. Which is good cause I miss it. Been too long without 4wd and the snow will likely be coming soon.
Update: I opened the front diff that's on it. It looked fine. :(
Now, I'll switch it out, but I'm still thinking the transmission output shaft sleeve needs replacing. Once I do that, it'll be back...
The coolant flush will help for a bit. A month or two. Then it'll probably get cold again. Mine spits out warm air as long as it isn't too frigid outside. I'm guessing the heater cores are prone to...
Thanks for the support guys.
Yeah, got the front DS. Also, the right side cv is the same for both the sr and ls. The left is shorter for the sr and since the boot on the left was busted on the sr diff, I'll be getting a new one....
Picked up an SR front diff today. Doing the install next week. I'll keep everyone posted.
After this, my rig will have the rear diff, front diff, and transfer case all out of the SR. So, basically...
Make sure those BOVs are ready gents.....
Thanks for all the help Justice. I went through all of the vacuum tubes and actuator for the front engagement slide. All work and look to be in good order. I even pushed the slide in and clamped it...
Alternator switched out. Holds when the tcase is locked. Let's loose when in 4hi unlocked(AWD). It's in the front for sure.
Thanks for the replies gentlemen. I'll be working on it for the rest of the day and will update soon. I've locked the vacuum piston forward and backwards to check function, but still run into the...
I hear crickets....... Lol
Wish it was that easy...
In any transfer case setting other than 2hi, it lets loose and grinds when a load is put on it. Then continues for a bit until the engine slows back down. I believe I've narrowed it down to the...
