Welcome, nice ride.
I have been using 3m 08881
Start with a 2500. My 96 does good for mild stuff. Great for road trips and if I took the third row out I could sleep in it. I have no experience with the 1500 ifs, but have had good luck with the...
Just go get the stuff from a junk yard. Almost any of them will work if you have fab skills.
Congrats on the new wagon
Your bf's may very well develop a pull if it is the way your vehicle is wearing them.
Not sure what you are getting at with the missing the boat statement, but as far as covering the floor with a liner or rubberized undercoating it has been done. Sound dampening can be put on top of...
I have never needed a 60". It would have been handy once when we had to use it to winch, but we got it so.... I have 48"'s, if your stuck in ruts most the time the bumper is only a inch or two off...
Thats awesome. Looks like it will nice when done. Keep the pictures coming.
If it was anything but a hard starting 6.0 I would say keep it. With it having issues already at 40* it will not be getting any better. Both my brothers have ended up putting a lot of $$ into...
Tank likes it that way
For mild stuff sure, looks like it will still let you spin the crap out of the spider gears though. Too much of that destroys them. Not too mention the one tire you have to roast off doing it.
It would probably be cheaper in the long run to buy a 4x4 and sell the 2wd, if you want 4x4. Take it out and see if you are comfortable with it. A 2wd locked or a good ls and chains can do amazing...
I got a set of cast shock mounts off an excursion we put a coil 60 under. They were the right price.
sure you can, I would pick a coating that is more non skid than both those, but it would be fine.
Some of the latest additions i have been working on:
The twin stick and overdrive are not in yet waiting for time and money for driveline changes. The...
I have also sourced a bus 12v ve cummins and powerstroke fuel tank(bftank helped out there)
The #5 piston was missing the oil squirter, not broke or plugged, actually missing....
I also put in an aluminum radiator and the pressure can from a powerstroke. The old overflow can had a crack in the bottom so now it is a rag holder as i cut the top out of it.
Too big for my seat I guess 267200267201
On a related note, what is the best color for overlanding? I like white in the summer and hot places, and a darker color in the really cold places.
