Now you have to take it for a safety inspection. There is a place close to me. I am assuming if I drive it to the safety inspection station and back I should be OK. Where did you get the weight slip?

I am using it to mount the RTT on and to so I can store stuff inside and help keep some of the dust/rain out. :) I am looking forward to see how much room I have left after I mount the tent. I am one...
Thanks for asking. The trailer is still sitting in cleveland waiting for the lid to be built. It was in line behind a bathroom remodel. I believe work should begin (may have already) any time now. I...
Nice work. Having something custom to your trailer and kitchen set-up is optimial.
I can see it now: You have a bear encounter that threatens you in the northern Rockies and throw a bear banger, only to unintentionally start a forest fire.
Reviving an old thread to see if folks came up with other solutions. William - I love the shrink wrap idea - did you try it? We don't have tons of mice, but I imagine they exist. I would like to have...
Not an expert still learning, but there are only 2 connection points and a drain, I believe to an RV tank. Here is one set-up diagram:

I am still learning and mostly getting info from...
Do you use a regulator with this pump or is it unnecessary?
I think (and I am just getting my arms around this myself) I am going to try a set up like this - feedback welcome!

FRom what I understand, denture cleaning tablets are essentially bleach tablets. I have used them very effectively with my backpack hydration systems.
These hurricane hinges don't look up to the wear and tear or the weight. How long have you been using your's and have they held up well?
Are you going to fab a way to lock the lid/tailgate? I am thinking of a latch on the lid to tailgate with a padlock. I am not sure how well a traditional latch lock would work on an m416
Don, what a fantastic kitchen!!
Nice! Is that the Harbor Freight paper towel holder? Do you like it?
I can't speak for the tripod kitchens, but I am planning on keeping mine in the back of my M416 and using the tailgate as a work surface (putting something over it.) I don't want to constantly have...
I think the photos earlier in the thread were the Blue Sky Kitchens - slightly different.
I got an email saying it would be shipped in about 2 weeks. When I get it I will be sure to post pics...
For those of us without mad fab skills, I found a company I have not seen mentioned that looks to build nice boxes at a reasonable price: Timberline Camp Kitchens.
Looks perfect for what I need. ...
I would prefer a side mount but I have a tailgate and no crossmember. I have seen set up with side mount using just one strut. I am using a RTT and leary of just one strut. Thoughts? (hoep you don't...
I had the same thought about vulnerability, but everyone seems to swear by their AT's. Your questions are my uestions, also. :)
Wouldn't the axles get in the way?
Yeah, the strut is the hold up for me because I don't have a cross member. I see that AT mounts struts on theoutside and I ahve seen set-ups with one strut, only. I would love to hear they are...
I am interested in what you go with here because I am going to be at this juncture very soon. With a tailgate, how would you mount it on the side?
This is fascinating.
That is a very clean looking set-up!
Congrats!
