All the door speakers are 6x8/5x7. You could also fit 6 inch speakers with an adapter. Tons of options. I went with a cheap pair of Sony Xplod 5x7's that I got off ebay for $57 for two pairs. Not...
I just finished installing a new stereo so we can have better tunes and movies on our roadtrip next week. Pretty simple install, but required trimming the factory stereo opening to allow the double...
I liked the fold down MOLLE panel so much that I ordered 2 more custom fixed panels from Alan. These panels will be 48" wide by 18" high and will mount over the inside of the two rear-most windows. ...
Not yet. It's definitely on the "To Do" list. Any suggestions?
I received my new ScanGauge II in the mail today, so I got it installed. I drilled a hole just above the 12v accessory outlet and ran the cable up behind the dash. I used the sticky Velcro to affix...
One word of warning in regards to the Adrian Steel stuff. Loud. Ok. More than one word... It rattles and vibrates, the drawers stick, and the latches suck. Oh, and it is very HEAVY. I highly...
I scrapped the shelves, and the seats are slated to go into my family's '76 pickup project. (If they'll fit.)
What a great rig!
I would use a relay rather than just a switch in-line with the power lead. Switches burn out easily depending on the load.
Is that an Aluminess ladder?
Last pic of the molle pouches. Bino's and misc stuff in the left, the middle is a tool pouch, and the right will be a basic first aid kit.

Still waiting on the last molle pouch, but I cut and installed the aluminum treadplate anyway. I think it will be a pretty handy little table.

Welcome back!
Ummm... Dude. We need to hang out! Had some Tequila tonight as well...
No. I haven't gotten to the Sterling yet. You really won't find a step by step "how-to" in my thread. I simply don't have that kind of expertise.
Sweet! Looking forward to this build.
Love the truck. By far one of the nicest builds I have read. I think I may have to copy some of your rear bumper design for my current build. Thx for taking the time to document all you have done!...
While perusing the internetz for storage ideas, I came across a pretty cool, and relatively inexpensive Molle panel made for a Jeep JK tailgate. I took some measurements and decided it would fit...
No. I pieced it together.
I added a steering stabilizer today. I thought the steering felt pretty good without it, but after driving it with the stabilizer, I am glad I decided to install it.

I went with a Bilstein 5100...
Thx. I am not a fan of using a hi-lift for changing tires as a routine, as they can be a bit tippy. Also, lifting from the bottom of the axle gets you off the ground quickly and safely, and you...
Nice to see you are making some more progress! Life keeps tossing monkey wrenches into the works here...
Not much to add lately. I got my full-size spare today. For now, this is the best mounting solution I could come up with. It will have to work until I get a decent rear bumper.
