Thanks for the pictures and report. Its interesting to see mud in a Moab story.:)
Nice rig. I think the area code is 406.
Anywhere relatively flat with limited traction. Like snow, mud, or sand, as long as its not too deep.
Depends on how they have been used.:sombrero: I have an 01 Adventure but have a really bad thing for the 05-07 640 Adventures.
It would take care of the problem of having to stop and take a crap too. I remember when we first got the meal heaters, it was awesome. The tobasco sauce was necessary too. Sounds like a fun trip,...
Did Jasper do some improvements on the engine when they rebuilt it? Like head studs, upgraded egr cooler, and upgraded oil cooler? If not do it before you leave the states.
Is Stockton Wheel back in business?
Yes the 101's were not air brake trailers like the 103/105's. The 101a3 should have surge brakes.
Sent you a pm.
Dang it looks like you had fun at EJS. I keep telling myself I am going to go one year, maybe next year.:)
Look into a transfer tank that goes in the bed, I see them on craigslist from time to time. Its lower than a 55 gallon drum so trailer will handle better, it will be easier to hide with shell on,...
I have done stuff like that before but it was in the back of a 26' Uhaul so no one could see it and it was in the US so no international borders to cross. You might have a problem crossing borders...
All good projects are scrap metal.:coffeedrink: A good power wash will do wonders for its looks. I would drag it home especially if its cheap or free.
This might work for an 02. I swapped a two speed case into a 00 Astrovan, took a bit of work for the speed sensors to work and the AWD light is on all the time now.
I have never heard of any aftermarket product to do that. To do it yourself and to do it right would be a monumental undertaking.
If your lift pump and VP44 are bad now then yes it was a sign of things to come, sure sounds like you will be doing an upgraded lift pump, fuel filter and VP44. I actually check the lift pump on...
In that case crack one of the injector lines at the head and have someone crank it while you watch, it should be spurting diesel pretty good with a good IP, no spurts or just a dribble then your IP...
APPS (accelerator pedal position sensor) being bad can make it have no throttle response but it should still run fine. Check your codes, P0216 and/or P1688 mean new VP44 time.
Check your electric lift pump, its on the left rear of the block. They like to go bad all the time and then your VP44 injection pump goes out, the lift pumps don't like the vibration or heat of the...
No. I am not to famaliar with the manual saginaw boxes. I know the power ones had three or four mounting bolt options and I think the manual boxes had three bolts. I think a four bolt power box...
Its a Saginaw box. They were made in both manual and power versions and clockwise/counterclockwise versions. How many mounting bolts hold it on?
A Honda XR250 is a great beginner bike. It won't do interstate but for trail riding and back country lanes its awesome. Easy to fix and maintain. I started in dirt on a Husky 610 but I am 6'6" and...
Hmmm. I should let consumer reports drive my Cummins 4bt powered Jeep M715 or my 52 M-38 with a Ford small block and dual blown out glass packs before testing a new Jeep and see if their report...
The first gen Dodge Cummins were from 89-93 and had the Getrag 5 speed trans with the right hand drop NP205 transfercase, the Cummins had a Bosch VE pump on these. The second gen Dodges were from...
