Got it all wired yesterday. I need to get some better pics before I post them. For giggles today I measured the ground clearance. 15" from ground to the axle! :wings:

Phase one is complete! Or is it ever complete! Phase two may be some time in the future, but here is it for now.

jk,

What would you say you have into it $ wise? Sweet build.

Give me the weekend. I saved everything and was going to put it all together anyways. The biggest expense were the tires and rims. My buddy had a lot of the metal for the build.

Well I havn't done anything on my trailer for a few months other than use it. I can't believe how much stuff I can put in this thing. We have taken a couple trips to Northern Maine on vacation and the thing hauls great. I am hopefully going to add onto it this winter. Here are a couple pics on our trips.

Question what axle WMS-to-WMS did you use for you 3 foot wide trailer. Also I assume you took into consideration wheel backspacing, tire width, and wheel spacer if used. Also how many inches between the tire and the tube? And what size fenders u get? I'm at this cross roads right now.

Thanks,
Ryan

We made the axle to fit so it didn't matter how wide the trailer was. We built the trailer to the size I wanted then made the axle. :wings: I have no spacers and bought my hubs and spindles from etrailer.com . My fenders are 12" wide and 36" at the longest point. I have since cut them down a few inches and are around 32" now. Hope that helps.
