Kerry,
I got the service manuals for 2002-2004 all models on a CD from the FUSO dealer that I use. You might check with the dealer to see if your year is on a CD. Not as convenient as the books but a whole lot cheaper.

Dealer says no CD's available. Hard copy of the service manual is available in 3 volumes at $150 per volume. Too rich for me. Anyone know how different a 92 FG is from a 99? I found a copy of a 92 service manual on line for $119. Alternatively, does anyone know if there is a medium duty truck manual available similar to a Chilton's for cars with enough service information to keep a DIY going for the most part?

Sorry Kerry, I can't help you with Canter Manuals but I found a link on ih8mud to this site http://forums.bauchan.org/portal/downloads.php There are a heap of different manuals you can download for heaps of different vehicles. I have downloaded all the factory ones for my landcruisers and suzukis.

Hi Kerry I'm asking around here too for a cheaper source but still no luck. Am waiting for some emails back. No promises but I'll certainly let you know.

Actually I asked my wife to have a scout around. She runs a bookstore and regularly does global book searches/shipping etc. But it was a bit like calling in a favour from the Don Corleone (Godfather) and somehow in the same conversation I got conned into tiling the bathroom over the holidays.

Anyway, fingers crossed.

It looks like the Motor Heavy Duty Truck manual covers the FG. I haven't found a 99 manual yet but there's one that covers a 92 on Ebay at the moment which might be an adequate substitute??? Bidding is around $20 at the moment.

I tried those downloads a few days ago but I couldn't see any for Fusos.

Below is a quote from bajaroad about having the manual you need on CD.

This was from his "california commercial vs. RV registration" thread.

I hope he is doing well.

Not sure if I would want to bother him, but he does appear to have exactly the manuals you NEED.

Reg - MH

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I finally got my plates/reg in the mail. My dealer was successful in registering the Fuso as a motor home - fees where $270. If I ever get stopped, hopefully the officer will be understanding that it's a motorhome in process.

By the way, I have come across a 1995-2000 FG service manual on CD (PDF). The PDF file is huge, about 250MB, so email is out of the question. If you own one of these FG's and would like a copy, send me an email.

I'm looking for a 2005-7 service manual, if anyone has one and wouldn't mind sharing . . .

The site I linked to earlier is for sharing these files. Once someone comes across the right manual they should contact the guy that runs that site and upload them to the site so they are available to everyone.
