Just to let you guys know there is a new HF net that has been going on for a few weeks now. If you're into HF stop on in. Trying to get the word out. Nice group of guys that like to go trail riding, wheeling, etc.

Wil try when time allows, & the time is not UTC right?

I could hear almost everyone else, but was having a hard time being heard myself. I managed to get checked-in but that's about it. The off-center-fed wire dipole antenna I'm using isn't great on 40m and I'm only running barefoot at 100 watts.

Offroad Hams is going to try and be on the air this morning for a bit around 10am Eastern. Same frequency 7.225 LSB if anyone wants to chime in!

I'm getting more interested in communications and had a question: If I want to listen to this net it sounds like I will need an all mode HF transceiver. Is this correct?

I have a small shortwave radio but there is no option to listen to LSB.
