Got back in about 5pm last night. What an awesome trip! But I feel like I'll be rinsing red dust out of my truck until December!

Will write a full report later but for now here are some teaser photos. My photo count was 758, some of the other guys probably beat me.

Guess I should have given a description of the photos above. From top to bottom:

Lunch stop on Day 1, lined up at the canyon's edge

The view from somewhere along the trail

Sunset from Airport Tower Campground (1st night)

Near Washer Woman Arch on Day 2

Lined up at the start of White Rim (trail to the right goes back to Potash Road.)

Campground at Potato Bottom (2nd night.)

Also, Ted (Tbars) and Brian (Brian1) have already posted a trip report with some great photos over at the Explorer forum:

the wife and I went to moab last month we rented a modefied jeep and hit some fun trails our first day we hit White Rim with the idea of taking 2 days from the visitor center to the other side exit
the rangers said it would take us 14 to 18 hours but we did it in under 5 hours after stoping maybe 10 times for pictures lunch and PP breaks

it was my first offroad trail (what a dream trail for a first timer, its like loosing it to a porn star)
I came back home and got an 80 Series LC within the week...... hooked for life

i took over 3000 pics ill throw some on here when i get some time

Everybody, Scott and Laura, Ted and of course Harley, Martin, Seb, Jim and Brian ( thanks again for the Ranger cut out and) and our newest fellow adventurer ( I am terrible with names at first, please forgive...) it was a hoot!! Well I think I got all the red dust out of my truck (have a new idea on where it comes thru and how to seal it) and gear, we will see. I think the way I will go is with a thumb drive and send the photos I took to you all via "snail mail' PM me with mailing addresses so I can do so, thanks. Once again this trip was AWESOME!!!, everything about it, companions, food, trails, campsites and to those who did the planning and had the maps, it just gets better and better. Can't wait to see what next years trip will be, Lord willing we will do it again. Very well worth my long drive from home to see all of you and have a week+ worth of adventures!!! So....... all of you take care and stay safe, will be on the forum through out the coming year with any news or such. :wavey: Michael

This was my first trip with my wife about 7 years ago this month before we had any kids. In fact your camping spot at potato bottom was ours as well (that dead tree was a giveaway).

Dang good memories.
