Things have been quiet here in the van section, so I'll go ahead & spill the beans on what I've been busy with.

I've been back in NC for a week, and I'm wide open catching up on orders and moving into my new shop!!!

I'll be able to complete conversions quicker, store more inventory, and Vanaconda will finally have a nice parking spot indoors :) I'll post more pics of the interior asap.

And for the next UJOR build...... Here is AmboVan!!!!!!

That's crazy, don't do it! Why would anyone want an 4wd ambulance!?!? :ylsmoke:

That's my van, and I put much of the blame on you, Nate. Well, that and the hour ride I took this summer gorked on morphine strapped to a backboard, looking around thinking "Oh yeah, I could make this work"

Oh Yes I always thought a 4x4 Ambulance was the way to go.....I just worry about clearances like old tunnels and rail-beds especially in Colorado.
Except for stuff like that, what a great start. Subscribing so I can see what your doing....exciting!:coffeedrink:

I only have like 5'-3" headroom in the rig, so while Chris works on the 4x4 conversion, I am building the topper - 3/4" plywood ribs, 1/8" plywood skin epoxied to the ribs, 1.5" poly insulation, a little thin glass on the outer surface for waterproofing, faired with light fairing compound, painted Ford white to match. Should just have to cut the hole and drop it on. Windows from Colorado Camper Van. Pics to follow...
