    Default Pipe Master

This looks like a very handy tool!

Toyota Owner (nov./dec 07, p.36) did a review on this and it looks pretty cool. Looks like it would speed up the fish mouthing pipe process.

They come in just about all sizes!

Thought i would pass it on if you don't get the magazine.

    I'd buy one!

    Anybody already have one?

I don't have one but I've used one.

    Meh...

If you're using it for triangulation tubes (where I think it had the most advantage over your eyeball and a sharpie), you still end up having to cut a tube that's shorter than the real piece so you can get the angle right for the contour gauge.

You can buy a lot of plain old tape, pencil, and paper for what those things cost and produce the same result.

Now, what that guy's doing in that picture is probably a different story!

There is a program that you can buy that will print you the pattern you need to cut. They talk about it on pirate all the time. Link might be in the bending 101 story. See if I can find the link today.

It looked like a cool tool for pipe work. It would make short work building a cage!.....

Neat tool. Really I don't think they would save too much time doing tube work... my coping tool does pretty much the same thing, I've got to estimate the angle of the joint, but from there its just measuring and coping.

I have two now, they seem overpriced but do work well for us "old school types". The wires are small but keep them clean and you will be fine..

That thing is a new twist (or the original) on the press-your-face-into-the-nails-garage-sale-fodder thingy that the souvenier shops always sell when they are throwing everything they can at your to separate you from your money.

Looks like it would be useful, though.
