Racks

I have been thinking about making a few roof racks for the top of a shell and was wanting some input on the style. I have made a few for myself and others which carry shovels, high lift and so on but it seems the flat rack has been on the top of my list. If you were looking for a rack what would you want it to hold and would it have sides, open open like my rack, open in the front closed in the back or flat. Most of my racks are made to carry surfboards and gear.

Those look slick, anymore pictures of the last one that shows the whole thing? What's it made of, and what did you bend it with?
I am about to either get a cap for my Ram 2500, and build a rack for it, or just build A frame that hold a rtt and 2 kayaks.

I used a 1" electrical foot bender and the pipe is .065.

Looks good,thanks for the reply. Hard to see from the pic, did the tube flatten much when you used the emt bender?
