Auxiliary Coolant Pump?

After three years of running a hot/cold water system in our truck (more info), I have never been satisfied with our truck's ability to keep the coolant circulating at idle speeds. After constant thinking since this project's completion, it seems like adding some type of auxiliary coolant pump into the system would solve my problem. Does anyone have experience with such a product? I am aware that some larger SUVs and passenger vans use some type of pump for rear-passenger heating systems ... so I know it can be done, but sourcing the correct product has been challenging.

Any thoughts and/or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Regards,
-=Doug
