I own both and absolutely love them. The scuff is good for lounging, but if you're more active around the house the scuff 2 is more convenient since it's got a heel cup; better for tucking your feet under blankets on the couch. Amazing durability for the scuff...I've owned them for over 6 years...even took them to Iraq for a 6 month deployment for wear around the tent after taking the combat boots off. The only other brand I can speak about from personal experience are the casual mocs from Lands End...they were ok, Uggs are phenomenal. Get over the fact that they're "trendy", because they just work and work very well. I've got a pair of medium height boots that I've worn to/from the beach for surfing and around town for the last 5 years and they're great, too.

I've had my LL Bean slippers for use everyday around the house, outside, camping, yada yada. Pricey, but durable. I generally get a pair every Xmas. Old ones go for muckin' about and new ones are too soft to take outside ;) Definitely been jonesin' for a set of UGGs though

I wear the Keen Leadville Wool shoe, but I'm not sure that they make them any more. Kind of a slipper upper with a Keen rubber sole underneath.

Thanks guys,

I really like those Ugg scuff 2's. I too used to have a pair of the boots back in the early 90s way before they were trendy. I lived in those things a the ski hill.

Mods: I just realized that this is in the camping equipment section, can someone move it over to Clothing?? Thanks
