These expedition Mogs are way cool. The 6x6 and hard side popup make me want a unimog.... stop it, no more please.....

Having spent more time in the back of mogs that in the front, who has AC installed ??

I do. With a 3.6kw 1cyl diesel generator to run it. I don't buy Earthroamer's theory that solar + batteries will run AC very long and my calculations support that.

I agree, and I've been looking at 3.5KW diesel gens - which one do you have?

I agree too, AC and batteries don't mix. Is the Earthroamer AC a 12v system or 110V running from the inverter? From the text on their website it seems to be a 110V system.

For the cab all square cab mogs (1300 type) and onwards can have factory AC without having the roof top unit, for the earlier ones you have to get creative. For the camper a 110v roof top unit or split unit is the way to go. I don't have AC and the previous owners lived in it for 18 years all over the world without it.

The yellow truck is an MAN similar to the first picture below, just dressed up a bit.

Good God, man, give us some kind of warning. I almost had an orgasm looking at the pictures.

Are the pictures of a meeting of a club or something? If so, does the club have a website?

WARNING! Expo Camper Porn Below!

LOL! Does the title cover it?

I took many of the pictures at several Globetrotter Treffens in Germany. They're annual gatherings hosted by overland travel outfitters, Daerr, where motorcycle, car, and truck travelers meet face to face for the same reasons we log onto Expo Portal. You get to check out other's vehicles and the details of how each was built. Also, there's stuff for sale, seminars, and video/photo presentations of trips taken. It would be great if we had something similar on this side of the pond (hint, hint Scott...)

Some of the other pictures were taken at a large German off road show and some while traveling in Libya and Tunisia. Glad you're enjoying them.

Hey Emil (egn), did you catch that white MAN KAT?

Didn't you say you were going to do a cab-over addition on your truck?

I was intrigued by that too. Looked like it might have had a flexible connection to the main body.

Someone just bought that rig at a very good price. I'm curious as to how they are liking it.
