Nice, I really want a Sankey trailer. Tons of room and still lightweight. Where'd you get it?

    Very Cool!

I love the sankey and the tow rig for that matter!

Looking forward to seeing what you do to it.

Lift lid with gas struts, mount my Hannibal tent, replace liftgate skin, and a coat of tractor paint. Tires are good for now but I have a friend who is replacing a set of worn 255/85-16 BFG MTs soon and will give them to me.

    Any update on this?

Do you plan on doing a spring over in order to fit the tires? Any plans for fender flares of some sort? It appears that any tire wider than 8" would stick out past the edges of the trailer and throw rocks and dirt around.

There are loads of Sankeys about at the moment in the UK.

I dont know if it would be too much hassle for you guys to bother tring to get one over there, but I can give you some links to suppliers if you like??

My trailer build is going on a Sankey Widetrack chassis.

UK prices start at about £200 for a good one, up to about £450 for a mint condish, disc brake version. They can be had for peanuts if the body work is shagged, less than a £100.
I'd rather push a Land Rover than drive a Jeep.

I have a Sankey, but if you know of any parts suppliers that would be great to post up!

    Cheers!
