Rocket Stove

Anyone used a rocket stove for car camping? I'm not worried about weight, looks like the next camp trip will be 3 kids and 6 adults in who knows how many vehicles! (My family is heading over from the UK)

The warm season is upon us and I'm thinking one would be fun to use along with my ghillie kettle. I have seen these

not sure what the advantage and disadvantage is of the two or one door model

Any other companies I could look at?

Thanks

Interesting none the less.

I think it all depends on what you're cooking, what it takes to prepare the meal, # of people, variety of what everyone wants to eat, how long you're staying at one location. I don't think there is a definitive answer. We sometimes take the Coleman 3 Burner, other times we take the Snow Peak BBQ Box and a single burner stove. We have a little bit larger set-up for when were are going to be doing a base camp, then we do a fast pack and travel when we are moving around a lot.

Just did some horse trading and now have a Classic model. Won't be able to use it until after the summer, but super excited to use this!
