Default Putting the leaf springs back in Land Rover

Here are a couple of the series 2A that I have been taking care of for the last 2 years. It is not mine, but occupies my driveway, garage, and trips. You could say that I am a foster parent. It allows me much needed time to work on my 2dr RRC.

I dont think it is (EDIT: ok i just read its a ROW)... anyway, POE's were 1994 NAS trucks, with the front NAS roll bar and the soft top split doors, and rear lift gate.

    Some POE love:

    That's what I call a lift!

I imaging that the drive is like riding on a log swimming in water.

    hahaha

it's not too bad with the longer radius arm and trailing arms my angles are just about stock and the springs are very smooth and soft. I drive it with caution in mind and don't go about 60 mph on the highway.

Just tried to imaging the truck in the kind of driving we do here mostly; Would love the articulation and the clearance but would most probably freak out on the COG and the bodyroll.

Not so many LR in the video but still nicely done by a club (Middle East 4x4) mate. BTW "Golden Spade" is an annual award for the best stuck of a club member in the season.

man that thing is on stilts!!

caster correction arms are going to drop the pinion too much and the drivelines are going to be vibing like crazy.

you are going to need to drill and rotyate the swivel balls for sure and then get radius arms to correct the driveshaft angle for a double cardan style.

...man and i thought my truck was tall
I got a bottle of Aloe after getting sun burned. It says "apply Liberally"... I'm not sure if this means other people pay for it and I use it, or I am to force other people to use it even if they dont want to because it's what I think is right for them?
