Picked up an old trailer made out of a 1940 Chevy bed. Luckily the original rear end was already replaced with a straight axle. The wood is all trashed and rotted, so I plan on tearing it down to metal and building this. The top is a small truck camper shell that I already have. When I'm not camping, I can pull it off and use it to haul stuff. I plan on making the lower part of the trailer only 3' tall from floor to top, then the camper is about 2' tall so I will have about 5' of head space. When money permits, I am installing solar panels on top of the camper and running lights and plugs inside it.
The rear door of the trailer will be removable so when I'm hauling stuf the cabinets won't get in the way.
