Thanks. All because a friend welded it for me! Wouldn't have came out half as nice, if I even attempted it, if it weren't for him.

Guess I can finally post my junk in here. 1997 XJ with 191k miles and no rust, supposedly it was in California up until 2-3 years ago. Previous owner repainted it, they did a decent job but it will definitely need some attention sooner than later. Bought it on 4/28, put the lift on 5/17. 6.5" IRO long arm lift, hack n tap SYE and new rear drive shaft with 33x12.5 Duratracs. For a while I will just be driving it and doing routine maintenance/fixing little issues that keep popping up.

Just to throw another ZJ pic into this thread, the XJ wouldn't be where it is without all of Mitch's help. 2 days after I got everything done we took a ~600 mile camping/forest road riding trip for Memorial Day weekend.

I'll finally jump in here, Bought this 99 XJ last summer and couldn't decide if I was going to keep it or not. Finally pulled the trigger and started building last month.
The day I got it
Rebuilding the front axle
Cooling system rebuild
Hood vents
New rubber
Restored the factory rims and stretched her legs yesterday, Still a lot to do in the next few weeks

2014 WK2 Limited EcoDiesel 4x4. Factory installed off-road skid plates, low range, body color mirrors, fold-flat front seat, 8.4" Nav screen, trailer tow, heated front/rear biscuit warmers. Mopar Rock rails, take-off tires/wheels from a WK2 Trailhawk. Future upgrades: OME 40mm suspension improvement, 32" tires, full length low-profile roof rack, 12v freezer/fridge combo. Nice setup, but you need to lift the Jeep so your trailer sits level.

It is lifted and level...when I don't have all the weight in the front of the trailer and everything weighed down from being soaked.

That looks awesome! Where did you guys take the trip? I live in cincy and work just north of Louisville. Always looking for places to go.
