1991 Bunkhouse

I have a 1991 Bunkhouse tent trailer that we have pulled with the HD Electraglide for many years. The tent is now tired and we have to cover with a tarp to stay dry. It has a fiberglass tub with plenty of storage. What I am considering is putting a RTT on the platform that is there and use it as my overland/camping trailer. I look at all these nice M416's and other Overland trailers and the question I have is Do yall think the tub, being fiberglass, would hold up? I am considering lifting it somehow and installing taller wheels and tires. I would no longer be able to pull it with the motorcycle but we could take a tent with us on motorcycle trips.
This set up is similar to the new Aspen tent campers. I will post a link.

Interested in hearing what others say about this. I have also considered buying a motorcyle camper to turn into a expedition trailer. Only problem I am running into is if it is lifted then the tent will not reach the ground as it should and there will be a gap along with the supports being too short.
