i have a nuvi 255w and an identity tab filemate that the wife doesn't really use. it's a cheapy from wal-mart but its an android based tablet with a 7" screen, wi-fi compatible, bluetooth. what i would like to end up with is topo maps of west virginia overlayed on the 255w and then transferred to the 7" screen on the tablet to have topo maps and raod navigation on a screen that i can easily read. this setup will be in-vehicle only, likely in a ram mount of some sort. it will be used for forest service roads in west virginia 99% of the time. possibly western virginia and eastern pa. the 255w has a micro sd slot and the tablet has an sd slot. do i have something that i can work with or am i expecting to much?
i also have an old etrex summit if that would benefit me at all. i would like to be able to make something happen with what i have. thanks.
