on my trip to baja last year, i ran my dodge, loaded with 7 days gear (7-7500lbs?)

ran 35psi for 2000 miles alternating dirt/crappy pavement, twisty narrow highways, no problems.

We did stab a loose bolt through the tread, in a sand wash, and had to plug it, but that is irrelevant.

i use a MV50 in the Cherokee to get from 12 back up to 25psi to drive home, on 31x10.5s

they are cheap insurance in a compact package.

How Low? Depends on how much of a load you have and the terrain. Rocks and low tire pressures can mean pinched tires. Then you wont have to worry about to high a tire pressure...... I run my work rig pretty full so I keep my tires aired up. If I start digging in (sand) I lower my tire pressure.

It appears you did not read the entire thread, thanks though.
