Stelvio Pass is the name of a famous route into the Italian Alps. Stelvio is also the name chosen by Moto Guzzi for their heavyweight adventure travel motorcycle. Italian videographer Andrea Livio decided to ride a Stelvio around the world, starting from the pass. Stelvio2Stelvio is his story.
Andrea is candid about his approach to the project.
"There is not a specific reason why I decided to start this trip. Actually, there might be a reason, but I guess I don't know what it is, yet...I didn't make many plans, almost none. And I change them constantly. I only decide my route step by step...I like to get lost...I only have a compass in my key chain. If I don't know what to do, I flip a coin. I definitely don't choose the easiest way...For now I have gotten the wrong way many times, I made many friends and I am still alive."

Andrea started his journey in late 2010. Andrea has ridden from Italy down the west coast of Africa, shipped from Sierra Leone to Buenos Aires in December 2010, rode around much of South America and Central America in 2011, and arrived in USA in September 2011. By September 2012, Andra had traveled to Alaska and back to Washington. Then he decided to return to South America. At this writing, his most recent blog post is from Peru on 27 June 2013.
