The first and last picture are on the Prow of Washington Column and the other two are in Tuolumne Meadows on West Crack, a very fun route on Daff Dome. Washington Column sits directly across the valley from Half Dome and the Prow takes a direct line more or less up the SE Face.

I remember doing The Prow back in 2000, and doing the last few pitches in waning light.

As I am sure you can attest to, the last pitch is hairy with jumping back between free and aid, with decaying rock.

Imagine being in that headspace, and seeing a pair of glowing eyes decending towards you straight down the rock face.

Damn ringtails!!!!!! I nearly messed my pants.
