Anyone have one of these? I know its not that large, but it might just be perfect for me. Occupy a small amount of space, but can fit 23 12 oz cans. Im wondering if I can just make blocks of ice in it, to transfer to a conventional cooler for the "keep fresh but not frozen" items.

I use a CF50 in the Jeep and a CF18 in our trailer. They both have been great for us. The 18 does not have a digital temp display but if you are only using it to freeze water you won't need one. Great little fridge for the money.

Great. Thanks for the info. I dont thinik I'll care that much about the digital temp readout. Probably useful, but since I don't know, I won't miss it.

Is the insulated cover worth it? and how long does it take to freeze stuff?

I only use the bottom and side insulating covers. I also used some reflective "bubble insulation" from Home Depot around the sides and on the bottoms.

I've never purposefully frozen any liquids. I removed the grating to give me more room. When my bottles with liquids touched the sides....viola!!! Frozen water, lemonade, and tea. :)
