2011 Silverado 1500 Build Thread

Looks like Herculiner or some other DIY bedliner kit. From my experience it works awesome. Did it with my snowmobile trailer 2 years ago

That's right, I used "Dupli-Color Bed Armour" on both sides of all the un-treated wood (2x lumber is pressure treated). The bed liner is very expensive and I ended up using two gallon jugs to get a good coat on everything, but I think it's worth it. The finish is good, easy to walk on (even in the wet) and no rot to speak of.

I have a Leer 100RCC cap on the truck now, so wood rot is no longer as much of an issue, i'll try to follow up with some photo updates.

Cool. I also have a utility trailer I want to make more weather resistant so that could be the solution. I like the drawer idea a lot but I just don't know how practical is is for my everyday situation, although if I built one it'd be like yours.

Unfortunately the Silverado is now the bridesmaid to my new project, and will be mostly stripped of it's goodies and returned to an almost stock configuration.

This truck will remain my go-to daily driver and will be used for shorter duration trips, especially while my new project is in the works.

Since last update:
-LEER 100RCC cap
-LT285 70 R17 Goodyear Wrangler Territory's
-Auxiliary battery and separator (going to new project)
-1000W inverter (going to new project)

Here's a few photos anyways: (more to follow)
