I just can't afford to replace it with something else, besides, we now have a fully developed love-hate relationship, and at least I know all it's little quirks.

That's funny! Some time ago I had a Subaru Forester that I named "Bob" - and I would tell people that the name was an acronym for "Bucket Of Bolts"! (I really like Subaru's, but this particular vehicle wasn't one of their best efforts...)

I don't name vehicles, but I do get each vehicle a unique license plate, and never transfer them to a different vehicle. Just ordered GOXPLR for the jeep.

'06 TJ named Spot, after a random red spot on the inside of the windshield, and separately a friend suggested the name when I painted the headlight bezels black. So it stuck.
