We just completed a 10 day off-road trip in Colorado. We're now back in Michigan and have sold the Jeep. Up for sale is a front runner 10 gallon water storage unit, used once, with the custom built platform that is used to store equipment/water underneath, and then in our case the area doubled as a sleeping platform. The front seats slide forward, and then inserts are placed to make a sleeping area comfortable for me (6'2) and my wife. Wood was padded and insulated with duct padding, then carpeted. We also used a foam pad and blankets to make it super comfortable. The blankets are not included.
Rear seat needs to be removed to install. By removing the rear seat, with the tank full you only add 70 lbs of additional weight to the vehicle. We were very economical with our overland build.
