From Jotto Desk Laptop to iPad

I have been using a Jotto Desk laptop mount in my truck for almost 10 years now. I essentially have this mount.

Now, I want to move to using my full size iPad and want to use same Jotto Desk setup that is attached to my transmission tunnel. I realize I may have to get rid of the laptop base, but anyone know what (if any) products will work with the Jotto Desk components? I'm thinking of using something like the ProClip iPad holder, but need to make it connect with my Jotto Desk.

What about the Ram mounts for airplane yokes, motorcycle handlebars, OS handles etc that clamp around a shaft?
They seem to have the base attached, then either the Ram ball or the plate to mount the various Ipad holders they have.

Looking at the picture you included, maybe just remove everything that's attached to the upright shaft? Clamp on the Ram mount and figure out how long or the type of arm mount you want to come off that and hold your Ipad.
