Selling a RS2000 Escort advice please

Ok guys I have been out of Oz for over 15 years. I have a 81 RS2000 Escort that has just been sitting around and I want to sell it while I am home for a visit in Sep. What is the best way to go about it these days (I take it you all don't wait down the newsagent for the trading post every thursday morning anymore). Its in Brisbane (actually Jimboomba) if that makes any difference.

Find a buyer in the UK willing to import. Those cars have a serious following in London.

Well I tell ya before we went to OZ last summer I was spending alot of time on Gumtree as that has become the craigslist of Oz...lots of deals, things seem to sell fast and we regarded.

Forums of course are always good as you can find a Ford forum that has a big Aussie following and join....also search clubs for that little hot rod and email them about best way to sell...might just get it sold without having to place the actual adv

It sold within 30 minutes on Gumtree. Not so lucky with the Land cruiser.
