Who is using their rig for international travel, like own into South or Central America or even across the pond? What do you have and what have you done to ensure international support, or things done to make your rig the most reliable as possible? Post pics if you've got 'em!!

My old dodge managed to wind its way through south america on its way to europe...after touring most of the western US. Truck had been originally prepped by me for tow rig/ NA explorations, truck had a little under 200,000 miles when it left for ecuador. Trans was freshened up before trip, routine maintenance done, and a thorough prep beforehand replacing any parts that looked worn (brakes/ bearings/ etc). Spare parts were aquired for known weak links, but other than than the common sense stuff, nothing otherwise special was done.
